Job summary

Rydges Esplanade Cairns is seeking an energetic and organised F&B Supervisor to oversee daily food and beverage service across breakfast, lunch and dinner, lead and motivate a team, ensure high standards of quality and presentation, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for conferences, weddings or reef getaways.

You’ll work in a casual, hands-on environment with no hierarchical barriers, bringing a guest‑focused approach, excellent communication, and flexibility to ensure a memorable

Qualifications

• Experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar in hotels, bars, or restaurants.
• Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a team, building strong culture and a great guest experience.
• Solid food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
• Warm, approachable manner with excellent communication skills and flexibility.
• Skilled at anticipating and managing guest needs, including for conferences and events.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and pride in presentation.
