Job summary

Novotel Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Professional F&B Supervisor to lead daily service in our busy hotel outlets. You will supervise friendly, efficient dining experiences and ensure guests receive attentive, high-quality beverage and food service.

You will maintain RSA compliance, manage rosters with cost-conscious staffing, and mentor team members on menu knowledge and promotions, contributing to guest satisfaction and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
• Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
• Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the food service areas to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Ensure team members are competent in menu, dietary and allergens knowledge. Ensure team members have some understanding of beverages and wine list and are competent to make suggestions as required. Ensure staff are aware of current promotions and are able to maximise sales to guests.
• Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
• Maintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.
• Oversee the setup and reset of specific Conference & Function activities as required.
• Assist with preparation of rosters, ensuring that suitable and cost-effective employee levels are maintained at all times. Rosters to be authorised by department head
