Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott – West Melbourne VIC is seeking a Food & Beverage Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations across restaurant and events outlets. The role requires multi-skilling to maintain high service standards and a consistent guest experience while supporting the leadership team.

You will lead a team of F&B professionals, ensure safety and compliance with policies, and optimise communication and coverage during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of related food and beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately.
• Follow safety policies to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Identify unsafe procedures and report to management.
• Follow emergency procedures (evacuations, medical emergencies).
• Address guests' service needs professionally and promptly.
• Welcome guests with a smile and use guest names when possible.
• Assign tasks and ensure quality standards.
• Train hourly staff on company values, roles and service aspects.
