Job summary

voco Gold Coast is seeking a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead restaurant, bar, conferencing and events operations on a rotating roster across breakfast, midday and dinner shifts. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering memorable guest experiences and driving service excellence.

You will coach and develop the team, monitor labour and standards, ensure food safety compliance, resolve guest concerns, and collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance the guest journey.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in hospitality, hotels or restaurants.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support F&B operations across restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events.
• Ensure consistently high guest service and satisfaction.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Manage daily service periods and maintain smooth venue operations.
• Monitor labour costs, productivity and service standards.
• Assist with training, onboarding and performance development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to enhance guest experience.
