Job summary

voco Gold Coast, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, seeks a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead restaurant, bar, conferencing and events, delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The role is full-time with a rotating roster across breakfast, mid and dinner shifts, including weekends and public holidays. You will work closely with the F&B leadership team to drive service excellence and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hospitality or F&B teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• RSA certification required.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events operations.
• Ensure consistently high guest service and satisfaction.
• Coach and develop team members for operational excellence.
• Manage daily service periods and maintain smooth venue operations.

Food & Beverage Duty Manager

Are you a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves delivering memorable guest experiences? Join the team at voco Gold Coast as our next Food & Beverage Duty Manager and play a key role in leading our restaurant, bar, conferencing and events operations.

As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you'll work closely with our Food & Beverage leadership team to deliver exceptional service, drive team engagement, and ensure smooth daily operations across multiple outlets. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front and creating memorable moments for our guests.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position working a rotating roster across breakfast, mid and dinner shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Food & Beverage operations across restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events.
• Ensure a consistently high level of guest service and satisfaction.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Manage daily service periods and maintain smooth venue operations.
• Monitor labour costs, productivity and service standards.
• Assist with training, onboarding and performance development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to enhance the guest experience.

About You

• Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality, food and beverage, hotels or restaurants.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• A hands-on approach with a passion for customer service.
• Experience with POS systems and hotel operations is highly regarded.
• Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
