Job summary

Berta Healthcare Services in Morwell, VIC, is seeking Experienced Support Workers to provide one-on-one support to participants in their daily lives. You will help build confidence, independence and connection, guided by compassionate care principles.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant, strong communication skills, valid First Aid, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, and a current driver's licence. Flexible hours and ongoing training are available.

We're currently seeking Experienced Support Workers in Morwell and surrounding areas to provide one-on-one support to our participants, helping them build confidence, independence, and connection in their daily lives.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is required
• A warm, empathetic nature and a genuine interest in supporting others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and comfort
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, physical disabilities, or high personal care requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a caring, collaborative team
• Flexibility to adapt to each participant's unique routines and goals
• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability are all acceptable qualifications for this role
• Current First Aid Certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Rights to work in Australia
• 100 points of ID (e.g. passport, driver's licence, Medicare, etc.)
