Job summary

BET Care Group Pty Ltd in Mt Barker is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to assist female participants with daily living and community participation. The role requires a person-centred approach, adherence to care plans, and commitment to continuous training, with duties spanning mornings to night shifts on a 24/7 roster.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Disability or equivalent, plus NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Disability or equivalent.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC and First Aid/CPR are required.
• Manual Handling and Medication certificates are essential.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle are needed, with valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor client support plans and documentation.
• Deliver supports in a person-centred and professional manner.
• Foster positive relationships with participants, families and stakeholders.
• Follow the established house routine and complete mandatory training.
• Provide care across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Female Support Workers to join our team in Mt Barker, South Australia to Support Female Participants.

The Role

Using a person-centred and active support approach, the Disability Support Worker will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality supports to people living with disability.

You will be required to work in line with each participant's plans, including:

• Individual Support Plan
• Health Care Plan
• Medication Plan
• Meal Plan
• Manual Handling Plan

Key responsibilities include

• Maintain and monitor client support plans
• Deliver supports in a client-focused and person-centred manner
• Build professional and positive relationships with participants, families and stakeholders
• Work within the established rhythm of service for the house
• Fulfil all compliance and mandatory training requirements
• Work across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active night shifts (essential)
