Job summary

You will review drawings, perform take-offs, source pricing, and maintain estimating records while supporting handovers to operations and contributing to long-term growth of the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Experienced Estimator with a strong focus on formwork and FRP.
• Excellent knowledge of commercial, residential, and civil construction projects.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for formwork projects.
• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating process.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements.
• Assist with handovers to operations once projects are awarded.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and pricing databases.
