Job summary

Project X Fitouts in Sydney is seeking an Experienced Estimator to join our office-based team. You will prepare accurate estimates for shopfitting and joinery projects, manage take-offs, and price materials and subcontractor costs to support tender submissions.

This full-time role requires reading drawings, attention to detail, and the ability to work with Project Managers to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Fitouts and/or Joinery is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, estimating and tender pricing.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and subcontractor costs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently.

Experienced Estimator (Shopfitting & Joinery)

Please note: This is a full-time office-based position. Candidates must be able to work from our Wetherill Park office in Sydney.

We are a growing construction company specialising in commercial fitouts and joinery, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and play an important role in preparing accurate estimates and competitive tenders.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing construction, architectural and joinery drawings
• Preparing quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates
• Pricing materials, labour and subcontractor costs
• Obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Preparing project estimates and tender submissions
• Assisting with variations, cost planning and project budgeting
