Job summary

INFORM is seeking an experienced Structural Formwork Foreman to lead formwork operations on major Sydney construction sites. This full-time role focuses on planning, supervising installation and removal, and delivering work safely and to high quality standards.

You will manage skilled crews, conduct toolbox talks, and coordinate with engineers and managers to meet project deadlines while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural formwork supervision or formwork operations in construction.
• Proven track record leading formwork teams on medium to large projects.
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, materials, methods and industry best practices.
• Understanding of structural drawings, specifications and building codes for formwork installation.
• Valid Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one.
• NLEVEL or equivalent supervisory qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise installation and removal of structural formwork systems on construction sites.
• Direct formwork teams while ensuring safety, quality and project requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and site inductions to promote safety.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and trades for alignment with specs.
• Monitor formwork quality, integrity and progress across project phases.
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and building codes.
• Identify risks and implement preventive measures to safeguard workers.
