Job summary

EKC Construction is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator with a strong background in civil formwork, reinforcement and concrete (FRP) works to join our team and drive major infrastructure tenders.

You will prepare detailed cost plans, analyse specifications and drawings, and collaborate with project teams to optimise bids while assessing risks and opportunities. You will mentor junior estimators and develop detailed construction programmes to support submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of civil estimating experience.
• Extensive experience in Civil Formwork, Reinforcement and FRP works.
• Strong commercial acumen with tender risk and margin assessment.
• Proven track record in tendering for large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for FRP works (materials, labour, equipment).
• Analyse drawings and specifications to develop accurate tenders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and commercial teams.
• Identify risks and opportunities within tender submissions.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and industry standards.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators.
• Prepare construction programmes to support tenders.
• Provide cost breakdowns and support post-award cost tracking.
