Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to live and work onsite, supporting the Executive Chef and managing hotel and satellite kitchen operations to deliver profitable, sustainable outlets with consistently high quality products.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and extensive experience in luxury dining settings to lead kitchen teams and ensure smooth operation in a remote, iconic location.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Experience in 5-star restaurant operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service.
• Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, ordering of kitchen supplies.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist senior chefs during administrative tasks like End Of Month, stock take and inventories.
