Job summary

Australian Retirement Trust in Brisbane/Melbourne seeks an Executive Reward Specialist to shape executive remuneration, governance and regulatory reward practices. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive sound decisions, compliance, and outcomes for our members.

You will lead performance and reward processes, provide specialist advice on complex remuneration matters, and support Board discussions and strategy development across the FAR framework.

Qualifications

• Extensive remuneration experience within financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of reward policies, regulations, incentive plans and end-to-end cycles.
• Ability to interpret CPS 511, FAR or comparable governance requirements.
• Experience preparing governance papers, Board papers or Committee materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of cyclical performance and reward activities for the Executive Cohort.
• Manage executive goal setting, performance assessment, calibration, fixed remuneration reviews and variable reward processes.
• Maintain executive performance scorecards and coordinate assessment activities.
• Provide advice on executive appointments, promotions and other remuneration matters.
• Review markets and deliver insights on benchmarking, trends and industry developments.
• Prepare remuneration reports and disclosures including CPS511 & WGEA.
• Support Board and Committee discussions with remuneration insights and recommendations.
• Partner with FAR and other stakeholders to maintain reward elements of the framework.
