Job summary

The Transport Accident Commission Victoria (TAC) invites applications for the Executive General Manager, Marketing and Behaviour Change. This senior leadership role reports to the CEO and shapes strategy across marketing, partnerships and community engagement to influence safer road use.

Based in Geelong with flexible hybrid working, the EGM leads a division with four direct reports and is expected to drive evidence-based initiatives that deliver public value for road safety.

About the role

The Executive General Manager (EGM) Marketing and Behaviour Change is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for leading the TAC's marketing, behaviour change, partnerships and community engagement portfolio. The role provides strategic direction for evidence-based initiatives that influence safer road user behaviours, strengthen community engagement and support the TAC’s strategic objectives.

About the Team

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role leads the Marketing and Behaviour Change Division, with four direct reports and accountability for a strategically significant portfolio. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the EGM provides strategic leadership to enhance TAC’s impact across the community.

Extensive executive leadership experience, with the ability to shape strategy, influence enterprise-wide decision-making and lead a high-performing division.

Strategic Influence and Partnership Leadership

Exceptional stakeholder leadership with demonstrated success engaging government, industry and commercial partners to shape outcomes, and align engagement, communication and behaviour change efforts.

Communications and Behaviour Change Expertise

Extensive experience leading and implementing contemporary behaviour change systems that drive meaningful behavioural outcomes and lasting public value.
