Job summary

The Queensland Government seeks an Executive Director Workforce to provide strategic leadership across HR for the QAS, guiding workforce capability, wellbeing, safety and performance. You will deploy systems to monitor standards, manage workforce risk, and drive improvements aligned to government priorities.

Leading a team of about 80 HR professionals, you will shape policy, governance and employee relations, and partner with senior stakeholders to advance workforce improvement across frontline

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability to lead complex workforce strategies in a large service delivery organisation.
• Executive-level consulting and inter-personal skills to influence change.
• Strong planning, budgeting, project management and performance feedback experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and evaluation of workforce strategies to improve capability and culture.
• Oversee HR functions including policy, wellbeing, safety, HR services and industrial relations.
• Represent the organisation in forums with internal and external stakeholders.
