Central Queensland Health seeks an experienced leader to head Workforce Relations within the Workforce and Organisational Capability team, providing authoritative advice on complex industrial and employee relations and organisational change.

You will guide a specialist team, build relationships with unions and external parties, and represent CQ Health in forums while driving governance and continuous improvement of workplace relations practices.

Competenze

• Experience leading workplace relations and providing trusted, high-level advice on sensitive workforce matters.
• Strong knowledge of industrial relations, employee relations, and contemporary HR practice.
• Proven ability to manage complex disputes and organisational change with balance of legal, operational and workforce considerations.
• Influential communicator and negotiator capable of building relationships with executives, unions and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing specialist capability and leading a high-performing team.
• Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent senior-level experience are well regarded.

• Lead the Workforce Relations function and provide authoritative advice on complex industrial and employee relations, and organisational change.
• Provide strategic advice to the Health Service Chief Executive, executives and senior managers on high-risk workforce matters.
• Oversee complex case management, industrial disputes, employment matters and policy governance.
• Lead, coach and develop a specialist team to deliver timely, high-quality advice.
• Build constructive relationships with unions, legal advisers, Queensland Health stakeholders and external parties.
• Represent Central Queensland Health in industrial, consultative and external forums; support effective dispute resolution.
• Identify emerging workforce risks, strengthen governance and drive continuous improvement in workplace relations practices.
