Job summary

ROUNDWOOD ENGINEERING & CIVIL PTY LTD invites applications for an experienced Excavator Operator for civil, rail and shutdown projects across Sydney. You will perform bulk earthworks, trenching and detailed excavation while operating multiple machine sizes, with strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates hold a White Card, VOC/attainment, minimum 3 years of excavator experience, a current licence, and RIW is desirable for rail work. Availability for shifts, including nights, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Statement of attainment and verification of competency (VOC).
• White Card.
• Strong awareness of site safety and working around services.
• Ability to follow plans, levels and instructions.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Excavator Operator – Civil, Rail & Shutdown Work

Roundwood Labour is seeking experienced excavator operators for civil construction, rail and shutdown projects across Sydney.

We’re looking for experienced operators who are proficient in bulk earth works, trenching and detailed work. You must be confident operating different size machines. Additional plant tickets and a current Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card are highly desirable.

The role

Carry out excavation, trenching, drainage and bulk earthworks.

Work around services, other plant and ground crews.

Complete pre-start checks and report equipment issues.

Operate additional plant where qualified and required.

What we’re looking for

• 3 years minimum operating excavators
