Talent Focus in Sydney is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join a well-established civil contractor working across residential subdivision projects in Northwest and Southwest Sydney. This casual role offers long-term work and movement between sites.

Operate 14T or 36T excavators, assist with earthworks, trenching, and general site duties. Safety and reliability are essential, with regular hours and overtime paid.

Qualifications

• Civil construction or subdivision experience.
• GPS machine control experience is desirable but not essential.

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Northwest & Southwest Sydney | $48/hr + Overtime

We’re currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join a well-established civil contractor working across residential subdivision projects throughout Northwest and Southwest Sydney. This is a casual position with a genuine view to long-term work for the right person, with operators moving between various project sites as required.

The Role

You’ll be working on residential subdivision projects, operating either 14T or 36T excavators and assisting with general civil earthworks across site.

Key duties include:

• Operating 14T or 36T excavators
• Excavation and bulk earthworks
• Residential subdivision works
• General civil and site works
• Trenching, battering and material movement
• Working safely around other plant and site personnel
• Maintaining a high standard of machine operation and site safety

About You

• Proven experience operating 14T or 36T excavators
• Previous civil construction or subdivision experience
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• GPS machine control experience is desirable but not essential
• Own transport and relevant tickets/licences

Whats on Offer

• $48 per hour
• Casual employment with a view to long-term work
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Time and a half paid after 8 hours
• Work across multiple sites throughout Northwest and Southwest Sydney
• Consistent work with an established civil contractor
