Job summary

JC Excavations is seeking experienced Excavator Operators (tracked & wheeled) for work around Western Sydney on major civil and infrastructure projects. Regional work may be available; specify in your cover letter.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, GPS/Final Trim familiarity, RIW/SARC advantage, a valid SOA/VOC, a current license with transport, and the ability to pass drug and fitness screening. References are required with resume.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years excavator experience.
• GPS/Final Trim experience required.
• RIW/SARC ticket is an advantage.
• SOA and VOC validity within 2 years.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Be reliable and able to work solo or with a team.
• Willing to work Saturdays & Sundays (regional work on Sundays).
• Be willing to work overtime daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate tracked or wheeled excavators on projects.
• Work independently or in a team on civil/infrastructure sites.
• Comply with safety rules and project procedures.
• Submit timesheets/dockets via smartphone.

Skills

2+ years excavator experience

GPS/Final Trim experience

RIW/SARC ticket (advantage)

SOA & VOC valid within two years

Valid driver’s license & own transport

Safety conscious (Tier 1)

Independent & team player

Willing to work weekends/overtime

Job description

We are a Plant Hire business with a range of long term contracts in major civil and infrastructure projects throughout NSW.

We are currently looking for experienced Excavator Operators (tracked & wheeled) for work around Western Sydney.

There are options for Regional work, please specify on your Cover Letter.

Successful candidatesmust:

• Have minimum 2years experience
• GPS/Final Trim Experience
• RIW/SARC Ticket (Safely Access Rail Corridor) - an advantage
• Have a valid SOA & VOC (within two years)
• Have a current drivers license and own reliable transport
• Be reliable and able to work on your own and also with a team
• Be available to work Saturdays & Sundays (regional work will be Sundays)
• Be willing to work areasonable amount of overtime everyday
• Be able to pass drug/alcohol/fitness screening
• Be able to use a smart phone for online dockets and timesheets
• Be Tier 1 project safety conscious and compliant
• Must supply references with submitted resume
