Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience.
• Current White Card.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience with 1.7T–38T excavators.
• Experience using attachments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators from 1.7T to 38T on civil and construction projects.
• Detail excavation for footings, trenches, pads and other civil works.
• Operate attachments including rock saws, hammers and augers.
• Maintain safety and high-quality workmanship.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.

DL Contracting is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for ongoing, full-time work across greater Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for consistent work with a growing contracting business.

About the Role

You will be operating excavators across a range of civil and construction projects, with a strong focus on detailed excavation and site preparation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating excavators from 1.7T to 38T
• Detailed excavation for footings, trenches, pads and other civil works
• Operating attachments including rock saws, hammers and augers
• General excavation and site preparation
• Working safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Working overtime and weekends when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience
• Current White Card
• Relevant Excavator VOCs
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Proven experience with detailed excavation
• Competent operating 1.7T–38T excavators
• Experience using attachments
• Full Australian working rights
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• HR licence
