Job summary

Canberra Southern Cross Club is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our Canberra hospitality team in Woden. You will support planning, coordination and delivery of events across our venues, liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure every detail is covered.

You’ll contribute to proposals, bookings, and ensuring client satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment, driving sales initiatives and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• What you’ll need to succeed: strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience coordinating events from enquiry to delivery.
• Organised with ability to juggle multiple bookings and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing events including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
• Coordinate with clients to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage event logistics: venue setup, catering, A/V requirements.
• Support Sales & Events team in generating leads and following up on prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and event details.
