Job summary

Canberra Southern Cross Club Venues is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain high standards of customer service, and manage cash handling procedures across our venues. The role involves enforcing licensing requirements, supervising security during trading hours, monitoring health and safety, and supporting staff through coaching and development.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of club compliance requirements;
• RSA certification;
• RCG certification;
• GCO certification;
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain close communication with Service Supervisors and Venue Managers to ensure smooth operations and provide patrons with high-quality customer service.
• Develop and implement customer service standards and continuously monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations in accordance with company policy.
• Enforce appropriate security measures during trading hours.
• Monitor and report health & safety issues within the establishment.
• Provide support to staff through appraisals, mentoring, coaching, and development.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of Canberra Southern Cross Club Venues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring staff compliance, managing cash handling procedures, enforcing security measures, overseeing health and safety protocols, and supporting staff development.
