Job summary

Living Gems Group on the Gold Coast is seeking an Event Planner to design and deliver engaging events across resorts, offices and construction sites.

You'll lead end-to-end planning, coordinate venues, caterers, entertainment and suppliers, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and People & Culture to ensure seamless delivery, with flexibility to work outside standard hours.

Qualifications

Now, we’re looking for a creative, organised and proactive Event Planner to help bring our resorts, people and project to life through memorable events and experiences. From opens days, to festivities, corporate functions and team celebrations, you’ll take the lead in planning and coordinating events that bring people together and showcase what Living gems is all about. This is a hands‑on and varied role where no two events are the same. If you love seeing an idea come together, thrive on the details and enjoy making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Opportunity

Working closely with multiple teams across Living Gems, you’ll coordinate events from the initial idea through to delivery, ensuring every detail is taken care of and every event runs smoothly.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Plan and deliver events across out resorts, construction sits and corporate offices, including Open Days, Christmas parties, corporate functions and team events.
• Coordinate event logistics such as venues, catering, entertainment, suppliers, equipment, invitations and event set up.
• Bring ideas to life! Developing engaging event concepts that reflect the LG brand and create memorable experiences for employees, residents and potential buyers.
• Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Team, People & Culture and site teams to ensure everyone is prepared and working towards the same plan.
• Oversee event deliveries.
• Managing multiple events and deadlines

You’re someone who can take an idea and turn it into a well organised, successful event.

You’ll Ideally Bring

• Experience in event planning, event coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence coordinating suppliers, venues, budgets and event logistics
• A creative mindset and ability to come up with fresh ideas
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours when required, including weekends
