Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an experienced Event Officer – Community Events to plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse civic program. You will manage stakeholder engagement, budgets, logistics and reporting while ensuring alignment with our regional goals.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team and contribute to events that celebrate community, culture and connection across the Sunshine Coast.

Formación

• Proven experience coordinating civic, community or cultural events in local government.
• Strong administration, financial management and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate planning and delivery of civic and community events ensuring professional outcomes.
• Oversee event operations, logistics, stakeholder engagement and on-site delivery.
• Develop and maintain event administration systems and data integrity.
• Manage budgets, POs, invoicing and financial tracking.
• Prepare schedules, run sheets, briefs and post-event reports.
• Analyse data and feedback to inform reporting and improvements.
