Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Western Australia is seeking an experienced events professional to lead major sporting events, strengthen partnerships, and deliver outstanding participation and experiences.

You will manage sponsors, contractors, volunteers, and stakeholders, turning plans into successful outcomes with hands-on leadership and a strong growth focus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience in event management.
• Proven track record of delivering events and managing complex projects.
• Strong evidence of taking ownership and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience working with sponsors, commercial partners, suppliers, or external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead major sporting events through planning, coordination, delivery and post-event activities.
• Take ownership of event operations and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with sponsors, partners, suppliers, contractors, volunteers and stakeholders.
• Develop and support sponsorship opportunities and partnership initiatives.
• Identify practical ways to improve participation, event performance, revenue and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate event teams, contractors, volunteers, logistics and operational requirements.
• Work alongside marketing teams to support event campaigns and communications.
• Assist with the successful delivery of State Series and Championship events.
• Provide hands-on leadership and decision-making during major event days.
• Manage competing priorities, deadlines and operational requirements.
• Identify problems quickly and implement practical solutions.
• Contribute to strategic projects that support long-term growth.
• Use previous event management experience to improve processes, delivery standards and participant experiences.
