Job summary

Glory EV Group is seeking a proactive Fleet Manager to drive net-new business across Ringwood & Lilydale, Cranbourne and Pakenham. You will target corporates, SMEs and government fleets, advocating BYD’s EV range and total cost of ownership advantages.

In this hunter-focused role, you’ll build a robust sales pipeline, close deals, and coordinate with leasing and finance partners. A background in fleet sales and CRM proficiency is essential to exceed targets in a fast-growing EV ecosystem.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven success in fleet sales, B2B automotive business development, or fleet leasing.
• A strong understanding of the Australian fleet industry, including residual value forecasting and lifecycle management, and experience with CRM systems.
• Mindset: An entrepreneurial hunter mentality, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
• Skills: Strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, and a genuine passion for sustainable transport and EV infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business: Identify high-potential corporate clients, SMEs and government bodies and integrate BYD vehicles into their fleets through the Glory EV network.
• Consultative Selling: Use Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), FBT benefits and vehicle taxation to show clients the financial and environmental value of BYD range.
• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing.
• Tenders and proposals: Prepare tailored quotes, tenders and fleet proposals meeting each client’s needs and budget.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leasing companies, finance partners, and Glory EV’s internal teams for fleet solutions.
• Client advisory: Advise customers on fleet electrification, transition planning and charging requirements, building long-term relationships.
• Brand Ambassador: Represent Glory EV and BYD at national trade fairs and corporate events.
• Reporting: Track activity, forecast sales and report on pipeline performance against targets.
