Job summary

Geelong Motors in Geelong seeks an ambitious, people-focused Sales Consultant to join the BYD Sales team and help drive the adoption of electric vehicles. You will support the Sales team to meet monthly targets, provide exceptional customer service, coordinate test drives and vehicle preparation, and stay up to date with BYD’s EV technology.

The role offers ongoing training within a supportive family-owned business, a weekly retainer plus commissions, and a company vehicle or car allowance after

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry
• Confident using digital sales tools and CRM systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A customer-focused mindset and passion for delivering exceptional experiences
• A positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment
• Holds a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Availability to work Saturdays (11-day fortnight with an RDO provided)

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in achieving monthly sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire buying journey
• Coordinate test drives, vehicle preparation and customer follow-up
• Stay up to date with BYD’s industry-leading EV technology
