Job summary

Wipro-Brisbane-Uniting Care in Brisbane, Australia is seeking an IT Support Technician to manage multiple PC operating systems, perform hardware/software installations, and support deployment tools like SCCM.

You will troubleshoot Windows, Apple, and virtual environments, provide printer and MS Office support, and handle device testing and go-live processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least two of the following certifications or equivalent credentials.
• Certifications cover PC hardware, operating systems and office productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops and laptops.

Responsibilities

• Handle different PC operating systems and hardware/software installation.
• Perform device setup, testing and go-live support.
• Provide printer and MS Office installation/troubleshooting support.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Apple and virtual environments.
• Unbox devices and manage DOA processes when needed.
• Collect device information (MAC, model, serial number).
• Connect devices to warehouse network and verify performance.

Job description

• Handling Different PC Operating Systems ( Windows 7/8 and 10)
• Performing Hardware Software Installation ( understanding of deployment tools like SCCM)
• Basic knowledge of SOE and group policies
• Printer support
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting
• Advanced technical abilities including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Unboxing of devices and performing DOA (Dead on Arrival) process if needed.
• Collection of device information (MAC address/ Model/ SN)
• Connect devices to warehouse network
• Physical installation of devices (installation of the tablet to a forklift, installation of the physical printer)
• Configuration of the device including OS and application level (as per manual)
• Function test for each device
• Label print test from performance, quality, speed, and stability.
• Device setup and configuration knowledge transfer
• Support Go-Live Change environment from INT to PROD

IT Qualifications
