Job summary

Peoplebank is recruiting on behalf of an iconic Australian organization for a Network Engineer role based in Sydney. You will monitor, support and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN IP infrastructure across data centres, campuses, and regional sites, ensuring performance and availability.

You will manage incidents via ServiceNow, perform hands-on implementations on-site in Sydney, and provide Tier 2/3 support after project handover, collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise LAN/WAN IP infrastructure support
• Experience with firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools

Responsibilities

• Perform network service activities during planned maintenance windows, including after-hours support where required.
• Manage incidents, tasks, and change activities through the ServiceNow ticketing platform.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, escalating to senior engineers when necessary.
• Liaise with internal technical teams, telecommunications providers, and third-party vendors to support operational outcomes.
• Undertake hands‑on network implementation, installation, and support activities on‑site in Sydney.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 network support following project implementation and operational handover.
