ENGIE Australia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to actively support and evolve critical network infrastructure across corporate and operational sites. The role involves hands-on design, deployment, and optimization of LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, VPN, and SD‑WAN, with interstate travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or related) and networking certification such as Cisco CCNA.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, VPNs and SD‑WAN.
• Experience designing, operating and troubleshooting OT / industrial network environments, including secure IT/OT connectivity.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation and secure network design.
• Experience with network monitoring, incident management, problem management and change implementation in complex environments.
• Ability and willingness to undertake interstate and regional travel on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, VPN and SD-WAN environments.
• Design, implement and maintain secure network solutions across corporate and OT environments.
• Lead the technical delivery of network upgrades, migrations and site connectivity projects.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution of incidents impacting operations.
• Monitor network performance, availability and capacity; implement reliability improvements.
• Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations and procedures.
