Job summary

FourQuarters Recruitment is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our global client in Sydney. You will support and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-site environment, focusing on WAN/LAN, security, and automation.

The role reports to the Global Network Manager and involves contributing to technical strategy and continuous improvement. You will work in a hybrid setup based in Sydney CBD, delivering upgrades, architecture input, and automation initiatives while

• Experience in enterprise network engineering and complex infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls and VPN technologies, plus Cisco ISE.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience in enterprise network engineering and complex infrastructure environments.
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and Layer 2/3 technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls/Panorama, ideally alongside Cisco ISE and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation.
• Familiarity with Linux, REST APIs, JSON/YAML, version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud networking across AWS and Azure.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.
