Job summary

Talenza is seeking Network Engineers for multiple 12-month contracts in Sydney within a leading Australian financial services organisation.

These hands-on roles focus on network security, infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation and firewall transformation across Cisco and F5 platforms in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience managing next-generation firewalls, ideally Cisco or Palo Alto.
• Exposure to enterprise wireless networks and WLC technologies.
• Hands-on experience with F5 technologies, including LTM, GTM and Big-IQ.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Proven experience with vulnerability remediation and security hardening programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritise and remediate network infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Deliver network security hardening initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Support large-scale firewall migration projects.
• Perform network hardware refreshes and software upgrades.
• Execute network patching and lifecycle management activities.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Help maintain a secure and resilient network environment.

The Opportunity

A leading Australian financial services organisation is expanding its project delivery team and is looking to engage multiple Network Engineers for a long-term contract opportunity.

This is a hands‑on project‑focused role, working across network security, infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation and firewall transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment on Cisco and F5 kit.
