Job summary

The Architecture Practice Pty in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support a complex enterprise network and data centre environment. This hands-on role focuses on operations, upgrades, migrations and resilience of critical services.

You will troubleshoot incidents, plan migrations away from EOL hardware, implement redundancy, and work with cross-functional teams to improve availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise network engineering and data centre infrastructure.
• Hands-on with switches, routers, WAN connectivity and IP networking.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and routing protocols.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing, redundancy and failover.
• Experience with data centre migrations and EOL hardware replacement.
• Experience designing and implementing highly available and resilient network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for network incidents, outages and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance and availability problems.

This is a hands‑on technical role focused on network operations, infrastructure upgrades and migrations, hardware lifecycle management, redundancy and failover, and improving the resilience and availability of critical network services. You'll suit this role if you enjoy troubleshooting complex network issues, working directly with enterprise infrastructure, and delivering practical network improvements in a structured operational environment.
