Databricks is seeking an Account Executive in Perth, WA to expand our footprint within existing customers and convert prospects into customers. You will drive consumption, structure strategic deals, and engage cross-functional teams to accelerate pipeline and close opportunities.

The role emphasizes building value through the Databricks platform, communicating business impact, and leveraging relationships to advance opportunities from first contact to close.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales.
• Experience selling Big Data, Cloud or SaaS.
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and engagement skills.
• Ability to drive consumption and secure first-time commits.

Responsibilities

• Drive consumption by identifying key use cases and increasing usage.
• Identify, structure and close strategic committed deals.
• Prospect and lead generation using various strategies.
• Engage prospects with BDRs, Marketing and Network to build relationships.
• Conduct first meetings with compelling POVs to create urgency for change.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline and manage the sales cycle from contact to close.
• Coordinate with architects and professional services to align on customer success.
