Job summary

Arcare Portarlington is seeking a Night Duty Enrolled Nurse to support residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor health, and document changes in care plans according to Arcare standards.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and Diploma of Enrolled Nursing.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Australian Working Rights and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assisting residents with ADLs such as showering and dressing.
• Medication Administration: giving prescribed meds and documenting accordingly.
• Health Monitoring: observe and record vital signs and condition changes.
• Wound Care: provide basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Assessment & Reporting: conduct assessments and document care in eCase; escalate when needed.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and achieve positive outcomes for residents, in line with Arcare's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate documentation
• Health Monitoring: Observing, recording, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition
• Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds
• Assessment & Reporting: Conducting assessments and documenting care via eCase, escalating concerns to the RN or healthcare team
