Job summary

Arcare Portarlington is seeking a Night Duty Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting residents and upholding Arcare's values.

You will perform personal care, medication administration, health monitoring, wound care, and timely assessment and reporting via eCase, while collaborating with the care team to ensure residents' comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and Diploma of Enrolled Nursing.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Health Monitoring: Observing, recording, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition.
• Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds.
• Assessment & Reporting: Conducting assessments and documenting care via eCase, escalating concerns to the RN or healthcare team.

About The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and achieve positive outcomes for residents, in line with Arcare's values and standards.
