Job summary

MineARC Systems is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across Australia and South Africa, driving delivery from concept to production.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversee approximately 19 engineers and support staff, shape the strategic direction of the department, collaborate with manufacturing to improve design for manufacture, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in manufacturing/mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of product design and design for manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software and Industrial Design.
• Manage workload, resources and project priorities.
• Drive engineering excellence, design quality and technical decision-making.
• Support delivery of new products into manufacture.
• Collaborate with Production to improve manufacturability and handovers.
• Monitor project performance and manage risks.
• Coach teams and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Executive Committee and strategic planning.
