Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a growing engineering consultancy to secure a senior Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams across a portfolio of mining and minerals processing projects. The role demands strong commercial acumen, delivery excellence and strategic leadership.

You will mentor engineers, drive project delivery, manage budgets and risk, and build lasting client relationships to support growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Extensive leadership experience within mining, minerals processing or resources.
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Drive engineering quality, performance and project delivery outcomes.
• Manage engineering resources, capability and workforce planning.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets and technical risk.
• Provide technical and commercial leadership across projects.
• Mentor engineers and support succession planning.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
