Job summary

Task Recruitment is seeking a Product Senior Systems Engineer for a global mining technology leader based in Australia. You will work on a subsystem tracking underground mining assets in real time, enabling autonomous equipment and real-time safety insights.

In this role you will gather requirements, maintain traceability, and deliver design documentation across hardware and software teams, while helping improve product engineering processes and supporting reviews and approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Master’s in Systems Engineering is a bonus.
• 5+ years’ experience as Product Systems Engineer.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver subsystems and components that solve real user needs.
• Gather and define requirements from stakeholders.
• Maintain traceability and perform risk analyses for decision-making.
• Develop and present design documentation with hardware and software teams.
• Help shape internal product systems engineering processes and standards.
• Support program management with reviews and approvals documentation.
