Job summary

Enemix is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia. You will oversee the full development lifecycle for onshore wind, solar and BESS, from feasibility through to FID and construction readiness, based in Melbourne.

You will coordinate site investigations, approvals, grid connections and stakeholder engagement, manage budgets and timeliness, and drive projects to financial close with delivery teams while building strong

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or major project development.
Strong understanding of planning and environmental approvals.
Experience engaging with landowners, regulators, and stakeholders.
Strong commercial, negotiation, and project management skills.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, Property, Commerce, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects across wind, solar, and BESS technologies.
Manage site selection, land acquisition, planning approvals, environmental assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate technical studies, grid connection activities, and consultant workstreams.
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, councils, government agencies, network providers, and local communities.
Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and development milestones.
Support commercial negotiations, project acquisitions, and investment approvals.
Drive projects through to financial close and handover to delivery teams.
