Job summary

Enemix is seeking a senior electrical engineer to manage technical electrical engineering processes across a pipeline of utility-scale battery projects in Australia. This hands-on role shapes how the platform designs, develops and constructs storage projects from feasibility through to delivery.

You will lead design, due diligence, and cross-functional reviews while coordinating with consultants, network operators, EPCs and in-house teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in utility-scale renewables, BESS, or substation/grid infrastructure.
• Experience taking projects through development, grid connection and construction in Australia.
• Electrical Engineering degree; Chartered status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and project engineering for large-scale battery projects (BESS, PCS/inverters, transformers).
• Own technical due diligence across Australian projects with consultants, network operators and specialists.
• Lead technical evaluation of EPC and equipment suppliers and manage external engineering consultants.
• Represent electrical engineering in cross-functional project reviews with development, commercial, planning and finance teams.
