Job summary

Australian National University is seeking a Deployments Officer within Information Technology Services to provide client-focused technical support for laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals across ANU. The role involves handling support requests, incident resolution, and documentation in a university environment.

The Deployments team collaborates with IT colleagues to deliver end-user technology in line with ANU policies and service standards, ensuring timely deployment and configuration

Qualifications

• Experience providing client-focused technical support for desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Experience configuring and deploying IT equipment and supporting Windows and Macintosh users.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and service logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-focused technical support for laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Receive and handle IT support requests, assist with incident resolution, escalate when needed.
• Maintain records, monitor service delivery, and support security and application tasks.
• Prepare and maintain technical and customer-facing documentation.
