Job summary

Maker Store is seeking a proactive B2B Sales Executive in Melbourne to drive growth across engineering, manufacturing and automation sectors. You will identify and pursue new business, build long-term customer relationships, and translate problems into technical solutions.

A successful candidate has sales experience, a customer-focused mindset and a willingness to learn about engineering products. You will work closely with our Sales Manager, learn to manage quotes and proposals, and participate

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service or account management is preferred.
• Experience or an interest in engineering, manufacturing, electronics, automation, machinery or technical products will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new B2B customers.
• Build relationships with purchasing, engineering, operations and management teams.
• Understand what a customer actually needs and identify opportunities for Maker Store to provide a solution.
• Prepare and follow up quotes and proposals.
• Build and manage your sales pipeline and develop existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to develop solutions.
• Follow up consistently and convert opportunities into sales.
• Support campaigns, product launches and B2B growth initiatives.
