You will work closely with the Workshop Manager and mechanics to help keep the workshop running efficiently, manage bookings, quotes and invoicing, and maintain accurate records. A stable, friendly team environment with opportunities to grow your skills is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, preferably within an automotive/mechanical environment.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently but also as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional and pride in work.
• Willing to travel to mine sites and Emerald area when required.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Booking vehicles into the workshop and coordinating appointments.
• Creating and maintaining job cards and work orders.
• Preparing quotes and obtaining customer approvals.
• Following up outstanding quotes and repair approvals.
• Processing invoices and assisting with accounts administration.
• Coordinating purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Assisting with parts ordering and supplier communication.
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicles.
• Maintaining accurate workshop and customer records.
• Dropping off and picking up vehicles.
