Ventia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support its senior team on brownfield utilities projects in Sydney’s northern region. Based in Chatswood, you’ll split time between the office and project sites, contributing to planning, QA, and site coordination for major water infrastructure.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across inspections, ITPs, safety documentation, and stakeholder coordination while advancing your engineering career with a respected national contractor.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure to construction within utilities or industrial environments is highly regarded.
• Experience in water, energy, mining, manufacturing, or process plants is advantageous.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable with multiple software platforms and learning new technologies quickly.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work on both office and site projects.

Aufgaben

• Assist with site inspections and information collection for planning and design.
• Support preparation and maintenance of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure workers, subcontractors, and equipment meet site compliance requirements.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks to schedule and cost.
• Maintain accurate site records and assist with reporting.
• Assist with safety documentation, including SWMS and quality records.
• Contribute to planning activities and look-ahead programmes.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and project managers to deliver safe, efficient projects.
