Job summary

Seymour Whyte is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to deliver major water infrastructure in Western Sydney. You will support electrical works, coordinate site activities and manage subcontractors from construction through commissioning, ensuring safety and quality across the project.

The role offers a collaborative team environment, exposure to large-scale civil water projects, and opportunities to contribute to outcomes that benefit local communities for years to come.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in civil or electrical field or equivalent.
• Experience in construction water or civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor project activities to achieve programme outcomes.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, safety requirements and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong reporting and organisational skills.
• Effective communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe delivery of project works in line with HSEQ requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and monitor progress, quality and productivity.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and reporting.
• Manage subcontractors and support the delivery team to achieve project objectives.
• Assist with procurement, cost control and contract administration activities.
• Monitor quality requirements and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Identify project risks and support the implementation of effective solutions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and industry standards.
