Job summary

Skout Solutions Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering and executing projects in North Sydney, NSW. The role includes providing technical support across the project lifecycle and helping manage scope, time, cost, quality and risk.

You will lead work packages within Civil/Electrical/Mechanical disciplines, review project documentation, assist in developing methodologies and risk assessments, and coordinate with SMEs to ensure designs meet

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as an Electrical Project Engineer.
• Valid Australian Driving Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Demonstrated safety leadership skills and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 business applications; other construction software preferable.

Responsibilities

• Accepting delegated responsibilities from the project manager and leading their specified works Package/s and/or discipline (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Reviewing Project documentation for any given project and understanding the project scope of works,specifications and Sydney Water's desired performance outcomes for the project to be a success.
• Assist the Project Manager to develop the Construction Methodology & Staging in consultation with other engineering resources, key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Assist the Project Manager to develop and maintain the Risk Assessment document based on the proposed delivery strategy.
• Assist other Project Engineers and the Construction Supervisors and Site Engineers to gather information from the proposed project site all that is required for design engineering resources to produce a design that is in accordance with the Construction Methodology and the Risk Assessment.
• Meet critical programmed milestone dates and budgets.
• Undertake Zero Harm inspections on our sites.
• Assisting the Site Supervisor in implementing compliant and effective site mobilisations and work package execution
• Assisting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of the project through engagement with all appropriate stakeholders
• Understanding and implementing the Partnering for Success (P4S) protocols and commitments to effectively achieve Win/Win outcomes for the project, site, and broader business.

About the role
