Job summary

Seymour Whyte is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to join our team delivering a major water infrastructure project in Western Sydney. You will work alongside experienced engineers, coordinating electrical works, site activities, and subcontractors from construction through commissioning.

This role offers exposure to large-scale infrastructure within a collaborative environment, with opportunities to contribute to safe delivery, planning, reporting and continuous improvement across the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Electrical) or its equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction water or civil infrastructure project environment.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor project activities to achieve programme outcomes.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, safety requirements and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong reporting and organisational skills.
• Effective communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe delivery of project works in line with HSEQ requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and monitor progress, quality and productivity.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and reporting.
• Manage subcontractors and support the delivery team to achieve project objectives.
• Assist with procurement, cost control and contract administration activities.
• Monitor quality requirements and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Identify project risks and support the implementation of effective solutions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and industry standards.
