Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of capital works for water infrastructure. You will manage projects from planning through to handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality standards across civil, mechanical and electrical works.

You will work across water and sewer upgrades, mechanical equipment installations and electrical/control system upgrades, reporting to the Civil Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in project engineering, construction or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience working within water, utilities, construction or related infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery (end to end) – mobilisation, planning and scheduling, coordinate civil, mechanical and electrical works, monitor progress and forecasts.
• Engineering input into construction methodologies, sequencing, and constructability reviews.
• Commercial & Contract Management – monitor budgets, forecasts and variations, manage procurement activities.
• Safety & Quality – safety leadership, site audits, inspections and testing.
