Job summary

DRA Global Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The role focuses on developing and implementing electrical systems across projects, delivering high-quality designs that optimise performance, reliability, safety and regulatory compliance.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute across the design process, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering detailed design environment.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering designs across mineral processing projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications and control systems.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to develop compliant, efficient design solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Use software to develop, validate designs, perform load calculations and assess protection/coordination.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications and supporting docs.
• Participate in technical reviews and peer evaluations to ensure quality.
• Review designs to verify accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project budgets and schedules and communicate with stakeholders.
• Attend mandatory training and compliance requirements.
• Uphold policies, procedures and confidentiality standards.
• Perform additional duties as required by leadership.
